The birth of a child is amazing and breathtaking. I have given birth to four children and each one was amazing and special. Due to my own experience I know planning a newborn picture can be a little tricky due to when they may decide to enter the world.
So when should you book the date? At DRC photoshoot we will discuss when your due date is and plan an approximate time. I will schedule the time and work my other appointments around that time.
The newborn pictures is best taken when the baby is 4 to 10 days old. They will still have that, I just got here newborn appearance.
I will arrive at an agreed time, date and location with specific props for your newborn session. I use the beautiful lighting of the outdoors. If the weather does not permit this, I will use a room in your house where natural lighting is available and/or I will use my studio lighting. The session will last approximately 2 hours. This gives time for breaks, feedings and change as needed.
When planning what your newborn will wear, remember less is better. A little knit hat or headband is perfect. This provides the opportunity to capture that cute little baby form.
You will have approximately 15 to 20 photos to choose from.
If an event arises and you are not able to make the time and place for the session, please let me know at least 24 hours prior and we can work out another date and time.
If you would like for the siblings or immediate family to be in some of the pictures, there will be an additional $20.00 cost.
Approximately 2 weeks after your photo session an ordering session will be scheduled. This is the time where you can view your proofs and place your order for prints and select your three high resolution images for the flash drive. At the time of placing your print order, full payment for prints and or additional pictures on flash drive will be due.
All orders are subject to sales tax.
Prices subject to change without notice.
If there are any fees required for the location of the photo shoot, the cost will be the responsibility of the client.
